Soon, we will be able to call that Republican Underground.

18. Why do you think all 6 votes were from Pubs? I didn't vote, but
the only reason I wouldn't vote for Bloomburg is because I won't vote for ANY spoiler. I just read a post about his new plan for asessing poverty, and his idea sounds a whole lot better than the way it's currently done. I know he used to be a Dem, changed to Pub to win in NY, then changed to Indi, but I usually like what I hear when he speaks, and I'm sure no pub!!!!

How could anyone on this board support a Repiggy?

22. Whoever supports either does not belong here.
They are a plus for the other side and haven't been paying attention these past 7 years.

13. He declared he was an independent a few months ago, I believe
And before he was a Repub, he was a Democrat.

I'm sure if he had lived long enough, he would have been a Whig, and a Federalist before that.

14. While I would vote for Obama myself, he could be in deep shit
Imagine a three way race: Obama vs Bloomberg vs Huckabee.

On ideological grounds, the liberals would go for Obama. The right wing nutcases for the Huckster.

The independents would more than likely decide based on executive experience. The fact that EVERY President (and most nominees of both parties) of the last 40 years has been either a governor or a vice president supports this.

Huckabee was the governor of Arkansas. That was enough to get Bill Clinton elected. Bloomberg, as mayor of NYC arguably was more of an executive than Huckabee was, because of the population factor. Obama has no executive experience.

In a 2 way Obama vs Huckster race, Huck's extremism might help Obama overcome 40 years of history. In a three way race with Mikey, he's fucked.

19. Right now Neither, --I do not know where Boomberg stands
on any issue.

Bloomberg has done One thing that impresses me. He intentionally
does not hype push "fear, fear, fear". When emergencies arise,
he is able to instill calm by his own demeanor. He rides the
subway, I believe, --non-verbal message, --if we act all scared
and hysterical--the terrorists have already won. Many leaders
could learn from him on this.

I want to know much more about him.

20. I won't vote for a Rethug even if he runs as and independent.
The only good thing about Bloomberg would be if he were to take away GOP votes from whatever wacko gets the GOP nomination.
