Do you think you would have the same feelings towards that decision that you are currently having towards Barack Obama allowing Rick Warren to deliver his invocation? Why or why not?

2. With Palin on the ticket, I wouldn't be surprised if McCain chose Warren.

3. No, not at all......
I would expect McCain to pick Warren because he is a right winger, they are two peas in a pod. Obama though is surprising, I was expecting him to pick someone who isn't such a bigoted asshat like Warren.

4. If it had been McCain's inauguration
I'd be too busy trying to find a Canadian to marry to worry about who he had speaking at a ceremony that I wasn't planning on watching anyway.

6. I wouldn't share the same feelings of disappointment towards McCain that I now have with Obama....
because, I didn't cast my vote for McCain. There is a reason why I voted Democratic and not otherwise. I don't want to have to listen to any man who compared gay marriage to incest on the INAUGURATION of the President of whom I selected. We've had enough years of this type of close-mindedness. I understand (at least I think I understand) what Obama is trying to do here. I disagree that this is the proper outlet and method in which to execute. Delivering an invocation is a reward. This is a day to celebrate tolerance and Warren does not represent this. He is oppressing people's rights and that has no place at an inauguration.

I hurt right now for my fellow dems who happen to be gay/lesbian/bi-sexual. I know how heartbroken and angry I would be if a white-supremacist or person who was anti-interracial marriage had been selected and I can only imagine what a stab in the heart this must be for them. I still happily remain in Obama's corner but I must express my disappointment.

7. I think most people would expect this sort of thing from McCain.
Cuddling up with knuckledragging fundamentalist bigots has traditionally been more a Republican thing.

8. Definitely not
DUers would be too busy raising a ruckus about how the election was stolen.
