The Occupy Wall Street protests are gaining momentum, the Occupy DC actions are starting next week, and other "Occupations" around the country are springing up daily.

as many people as possible to attend. If you click on one of the links it has a flier that shows which groups will be attending. Can't do today, but the 6th should be okay for me. One problem though... THE RAYS are still in the game and I wonder if this will keep people away. Don't know enough about baseball schedule to make predictions! HOWEVER, it's good to see some activism down here!

Here's the email I got.
It'd be great if you can make it to New York or DC for the actions there, but if you're not able, you can join the growing movement by going to Tampa on Oct. 6.

We're happy to join in solidarity with the Muslim community and many peace and justice groups for a protest on Oct. 6, which marks 10 years since the start of the Afghanistan war. We are also happy to be joined by Occupy Tampa on that day, who will march to the Federal Courthouse from their planned actions.

Don't miss out. Be part of the growing movement that says "Human Needs, Not Corporate Greed". Do whatever it takes to get to the protest that day and help spread the word! Here's the info:
