Stopping Gene Kelly. Hereis an idea.

We have recommended to our county chair that only one poll is used for the runoff in our area. Not only did we have low turnout, we need to focus our resources.

In the past we had 26 precinct at one central location. We need just a few to run the election and then we can have just a few outside to remind people what a joke Gene Kelly is.



If I ever see Gene Kelly, I intend to kick his dancing ass.

1. Don't worry about Kelly. The sort of voters who voted for Kelly DO NOT

VOTE in run offs (they are usually non-politically-interested voters who showed up at the election for family, friends, fellow church members, etc. who were on the ballot in soe other race, and most of those candidates will not be on the run off ballot). BAR just needs to do what she has been doing for another 30 days and she will get lots of good publicity and she will handily win the nomination.

We should treat the next 30 days just like the last 30 days -- campaign mode.

I don't know how it was all over Texas in the 2000 runoff, but it rained like crazy in Houston and in our precinct and several surrounding ours, the senate runoff was the ONLY thing on the ticket and still, people, not a lot but enough, came out to vote for nothing more than a name they knew nothing about.

Don't take him for granted!!!!
