The value of manual labor. By Matthew Crawford. I couldn't finish it. Too esoteric. He got too lofty into the clouds with his philosophy. When really he just has a simple basic truth that we all know. And from time to time practice, and live. The simple pleasures, of fixing your own motorcycle, or your own dinner or at least the salad for the dinner. Etc. No great philosophy needed for it. But can one open a shop and make a living at it? Previously no, as motorcycle shops were folding left and right. But at the moment the market is growing rapidly, so maybe. I wish I could do it. (Open the motorcycle repair shop, and make a living at it.) dc
