Vatican Makes Peace with the Beatles

VATICAN CITY — The Vatican has finally made peace with the Beatles, saying their drug use, "dissolute" lives and even the claim that the band was bigger than Jesus are all in the past – while their music lives on.

It was just in the mid-90s that the Vatican made its peace with Galileo and his theories of the Earth going around the Sun instead of the other way around. So we're talking about moving from stuff 500 years overdue to 40 years overdue.
