It was a foregone conclusion the US was going to qualify. The real question is whether or not they'll make it out of the group stage in South Africa.

7. It's nice to have qualification wrapped up before the last game.
Plus, if the US wins the last game, they win their group, which is nice.

The big news is winning in Honduras, which hadn't been done this qualification session by anyone, Mexico included.

But you're right, the real test is in South Africa.
