Ok. Here's one fan's fearless playoff predictions (NFL)
First round NFC
Eagles destroy Giants
Seahawks squeak by Cowboys
Divisional Playoffs NFC
Bears barely beat Seahawks (sorry, couldn't resist)
Saints and Eagles hook up in a thriller with Saints winning
NFC Championship
Saints handle Bears with relative ease

First round AFC
Chiefs upset Colts
Patriots experience prevails and they beat Jets handily

Divisional Playoffs AFC
Chargers are better than Chiefs and prove it
Ravens overpower Patriots
AFC championship
Ravens defeat Chargers with superior defense

The "Big game"
Saints play gamely through three quarters but Ravens prove defense wins championships. Ravens are champs again.
There you have it. I make absolutely no guarantees and if anyone is foolish enough to make a wager based on any of the above predictions, then all I can say is that it's your money you're throwing away. Except if you win. Then I want my cut. Lol.

1. Looks like you're much closer to what I think will happen than what I
hope. I will be ecstatic if we win over Dallas, but I'm not holding my breath beyond that. I'd love to see the Saints win it all if we can't, but I agree that the Ravens look like the toughest team overall.

2. Okay I'll throw my two cents worth in
- Bears will lose their first game
- Saints/Chargers in Superbowl

- I'll wait a week to predict further

Best of luck to all teams.

3. I see it this way.
Eagles crush Giants. Seahawks beat pathetic Dallas team that has quit. Eagles beat New Orleans in a close one with experience, Seahawks beat Bears who have no offense. Eagles win NFC Championship at home vs Seahawks.

Chiefs Beat Colts because Larry Johnson cannot be stopped by this team. Pats experience beats Jets. Chargers beat Chiefs at home. Pats beat Ravens in a very stingy game. Chargers beat Patriots for AFC crown.

Eagles vs Chargers for Super Bowl.

5. That would be great. It seems a lot of people don't think that anyone
in the NFC can beat the Saints, but they ended the year with the same record as the Eagles and their division was garbage. I think Eagles Saints would be a good game, and one I think the Eagles would win.

6. We should have won the last one.
We're better than them. Holmgren blew his chances by playing his starters and getting them hurt in a meaningless game. They should still be able to beat the Pathetic Cowgirls though.

4. My picks
Eagles over Giants... Anything is possible, and in this year's NFC an 8-8 Giants advancing wouldn't be a shock. However, the Eagles are playing too well at the time to lose to the moribund New York Football Giants.

Chiefs over Colts... Larry Johnson may be too much for the porous Colts rush defense.

Cowboys over Seahawks... Playing a hunch with this upset. Parcells gets his team together and beats a very weak Seattle Seahawks. I wouldn't like to be the Cowboys this week in practice after the Week 17 abortion versus Detroit.

Pats over Jets... Hard to pick a side to root for in this affair. All I can say is "J-E-T-S sucks!sucks!sucks!"

DIVISIONAL ROUND

Chargers over Chiefs... The Chargers should have the talent to overcome Coach Schottenheimer's playoff ineptitude. They win in spite of Marty.

Ravens over Patriots... It'll be hard to beat the Ravens defense, especially with Baltimore's off week to prepare.

Eagles over Saints... In the playoffs, a hot team, like Pittsburgh last year, can overcome home field.

Bears over Cowboys... If Rex can avoid the big mistake, I like the Bears to win this one.

CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIPS

Chargers over Ravens... San Diego will have to dig down and win a low scoring game.

Bears over Eagles... It would be quite ironic if Garcia gets to as many Super Bowls as McNabb did in four tries. Nevertheless, I'm going for Philly's run to end in Chicago.

SUPER BOWL

Chargers over Bears... I know it doesn't always prove to be true, but from my viewing the Chargers are the most complete team in the league this year. It may seem like all my picks for the SB are chalk. I think the upsets come in the wild card round and the better rested and higher quality teams prevail in the end.
