4. Not Pete Carroll
As an SC alum I'll be sick if he leaves, yet as a Dolphin fan I wouldn't be excited.

Miami needs the best personnel guy available. The old argument was the Dolphins always picked low in round one, like 22nd, so the premium guys weren't available. Now it's been the 2nd pick and the 15th and this year the 9th, yet no one is scared of our young talent.

5. I heard on the news last night that Mike Martz is interviewing for it
I pity the Dolphins if they hire this guy. His stint as Lion's Offensive Coordinator, well, has not produced any positive results to put it mildly.

7. As a Seahawks fan I was a big admirer of the job Mike Martz did on
(uh, I mean for) the Rams.:P

If the Phish hire Martz they'll make Pats, Jets, and Bills fans just as happy.

8. I hope he takes over on offense
He made Kurt Warner and Marc Bulger into Pro Bowlers while he was in St. Louis. What could he do with Daunte Culpepper?

Now, hiring him as head coach? Recipe for disaster.
