DU has become a really hateful place lately.

It used to be a place where we all supported each other and shared progressive ideals and ideas.

Now it's become a constant flame-war about things I never would have imagined.

Beating kittens to death? I'm sorry, but any DUer who finds that acceptable is NOT a "true" DUer.

I'm really tired of fighting stupid stuff on this board all the time.
I have enough of that in the real world.

This isn't directed at you, my fellow animal lovers. I just feel it's safer to vent here than out in the general population of DU.

3. Some of those posters are closet Freepers, Freepers in disguise, or...

...are completely confused about their party identification. A few over there do not represent Liberal values, Progressive values, or Democratic values for that matter. In fact they didn't even have human values. If they think they are Democrats, they are wrong. And I know our party is a big tent party, buy frankly, I don't want some of them under my tent. I'd rather they go on over to the dark side with Limpballs, Liddy, and the rest of those whom they do share more in common with, than us...:grr:
