In '03 there was an LCV debate in late june here in LA. Don't remember anything before that - anyone else?

3. there were many events probably as early as January 2003

but a real "debate" probably wasn't until September of 2003.

in a way it's a good thing though.

4. The LCV debate was a pretty big deal

I went down to UCLA to try to meet JK for the first time that day. Yes there were plenty of gampaign events, etc before that, but I think this was the first major debate, it included: JK, Rev Al, Carol Moseley-Braun, Howard Dean; and Joe Lieberman.

5. Just found a list of '03 - '04 debates

It doesn't include the LCV debate I mentioned in the other post but it does appear that in early May there was a debate in SC at the Unversity: ABC "The Democratic Presidential Debate" at University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC, Saturday, May 3, 2003 (in conjunction with the South Carolina Democratic Party's Dem Weekend 2003).
