It probably will be held at Symphony Hall in Boston, and it seems like it's going to be a wonderful event, with a potentially exciting entertainment lineup. Tickets will probably be expensive -- fund-raiser-type levels -- but it promises to be a very special evening, celebrating 25 years of Sen. Kerry's Senate service, 45 years of public service, etc, and also with attention to serious issues along with the celebration. Hopefully, this early notice will increase the chances that interested people can save enough $ between now and December to make it possible to come. I will send out more details as I learn them. Through a bizarre sequence of events, I seem to have sort of promised I would do whatever I could to help round up tickets/donations, so if you're interested in the event, and want to be kept in the loop, please pm me, with an email address, and I'll be sure to contact you personally when I know more. Also, if you receive an invitation directly, and decide to buy tickets, I'd be grateful if you could do it through me (however this works -- there is bound to be some sort of mechanism for this, I just don't know what it is yet), so I can get some sort of "credit" (for what? I don't have a clue) for my missionary efforts.
