Just bought a used Nikon D70s. Went by a local camera store and they just happened to have a used one in stock, in practically new condition, so I snatched it up. My plan was to buy the D70s body only and also get the new 18-200 VR lens. Well, they didn't have the lens in stock (apparently no one does), so I ended up getting the 50mm 1.4 prime lens, which I wanted anyway. The 18-200 VR is on order. In the mean time, here are some of the first pics with my new baby!
Here's Mojito doing her best meerkat impression. It was actually very dim in my living room, but at f/1.4, it's not problem doing a hand-held shot. Nice soft "bokeh", too.

And here are some of my Mexico trinkets:

I'm a happy boy!
I have to say, however, that I was seriously tempted to get the D200 instead. Sooo fast, 5 fps! Large, bright viewfinder. Gorgeous LCD on the back. But it was $1000 more. $1000 more!!! And it only came with the kit lens, which I didn't want. And I just take photos for fun, so I just couldn't justify it. But, my goodness, what a camera!
