1. I really, really like this photo.
Great composition, great colors, great use of lighting.

LOve that touch of green throughout the lace curtains.

15. Now you're going to make me go all Adventist
and take a tour. You've really captured an entire era with that photo.

3. IMHO
the curtains make this photo.

Outstanding!

10. Thanks, Celebration!
I had to use Lightroom to get the values right, and I was very happy with how the curtains came out.
I took this shot with my old 6mp Sony DMC-H2 which, sadly, drowned on a trip to Micronesia.

I really liked that camera. :(

11. Thanks, Mira! There is, but the room is not mine.
I took this on a tour of Elmshaven, up by St. Helena.

5. Lovely.
The light/The drapes/the water. The varying reflections.

13. Thanks, handmade34! I'd like to have a large copy also; unfortunately
I took this with my old 6mp Sony DMC-H2 which has since drowned on a trip to Micronesia. The 6mp, plus the adjustments I made in Lightroom, would never allow this one to be blown up successfully. :D

16. You might be surprised.
6 mp would be about 3000x2000. At 150 DPI that would be 20x13, depending on how much cropping you did.

Great photo. Excellent job at getting a good exposure without losing the lace pattern in the curtain.
