Bald Eagle migration to Canada and Alaska.
I visited Farmington Bay Waterfowl Management Area, Farmington, Utah, last Sunday. The Bald Eagle migration occurs in this area Nov through Mar on their trek north. The usual number of sightings is between 150-200 per day. It was rather spectacular,

I took my 19 year old niece with me. Her Dad called from Afghanistan on our way to the site, and she told him she was going to a "movie" with her aunt. She assumed when I asked if she wanted to the the Bald Eagle Migration she was going to a movie. She was so excited when she realized it was "real" birds. I was excited because she helped me carry cameras and binocs.

1. How wonderful!
LOL, a movie. Wow! Sounds like a lot of fun. Thanks for the great photo :hi:

There is a popular eagle migration place not that far from here but I never have made it there. Maybe you have just inspired me.

2. Do it. It is very inspiring.
I have visited the Snow Geese migration north through Delta, Utah more than once. I actually ran into a classmate I had not seen in over 30 years at one of my visits.

3. They're really magnificent birds,
and I'm so glad they're making a comeback in the Lower 48.
