5. Most people are obilvious when they are eating

(the woman in the middle is undressing me with her eyes):P

Don't be nervous. If you come across as 'sneaky' people will notice you. Just take pictures. You'll be surprised how easy it is once you've done it a few times.

Oh, and I heart the cemetery photo you posted down yonder.

6. Oh, I know exactly what
you mean. Many times I'm out-and-about, camera in hand and see some wonderful (or potentially wonderful) shots, but decide I shouldn't be so intrusive. Guess I should get over that! ;-)

3. I think so...
I was sitting in the corner and wall to my left was reflective...

funky times in Queens... (hope to get to OWS as soon as work slows a bit)

my photo taking ventures have taken a real hit lately... "Autumn" was a struggle... I missed numerous GREAT shots traveling back and forth between Mass and Vermont the last few weeks...

Beautiful Cemetery in Jamaica, NY

7. Thanks for sharing ALL of these!
I know what you mean about being away from it. I have been in slideshow making mode for the last few weeks..........doing things like spelling badly, LOL. I have to render them many times before I catch all my mistakes. I'm ready to return to photography for sure.

You have some really, really nice photos here. The cemetary looks fabulous. Love the way the tree is centered.

I am also a bit nervous taking photos of strangers!

8. A whole slew of fabulous and then comes the cemetery:
I LOVE THAT.
I get lost in studying the gravestones, and the close proximity of them to each other, with the tree as a protective canopy.
I think your entry rocks, and is very moving, but no more than this one IMO.
I suspect you had a hard time choosing, or tossing coins, or whatever you do to decide.

BTW I see you in the photos. Glad you pointed yourself out.
LOL

About people: I ask. I always ask if they are facing me. I engage them for a minute some other way in a way that I hope fits the occasion, knowing full well I'm about to ask for a photo.
Asking that is the only thing I know in Spanish in a full sentence.

Children: I always ask the adult first, and then the child as well.

Sometimes I do not get permission.

I too feel a bit intrusive, but I try to get over it. I offer to send a CD or an email if they want it, if the situation allows it.
