1. love them
I like the first one because it made me laugh. The bird is trying to turn the water on! Hilarious. The second to last one made me laugh too but it also made me want to swat it, or twitch, or something, LOL. Then I just love the bobcat's expression and have never had an encounter with one so close.

The penguin and eagle are fine but don't really excite me. I would like the last one better if I could see the feet. The bunting is just plain gorgeous. The woodpecker is technically great but a bit scary looking(?)

Very close, but I would vote for number one first, the bobcat second, and the bunting third. Ask me on a different day and I might decide differently. It's especially close between the bunting and the bobcat.

3. LOL
Okay. If I *knew* that I actually wouldn't vote for it!

Glad it wasn't my fave.

(I actually have a zoo shot I like, and might add it to my thread. But it pretty much be obvious it was not wild.)

4. I must say i was expecting great photos from you on this subject yet not
THIS great.
My hands down favorite is the parakeet trying to open the faucet. It has a parallel to the pipe in white on the left bringing out his face. It's beautifully captured and has that extra kick of humor.
If it were mine I would come in a bit all the way around with a crop, but then it is not mine, and I doubt I'd ever have one that great.

I love the bird with the insect. Because of the added interest.

I adore the splashing Painted Bunting, and the elegance of the one that is just showing his splendid self.
I'm very excited that maybe one of these will be in the contest.
