Painting with light
Had my daughter and wife help out with an experiemnt in light painting ...

Definately had a lot of fun with it and plan on developing it further.

Enjoy!

3. Well in an effort of full disclosure, this was not a concept/technique I dreamed up...
I had recently read about other photographers doing this with results that far surpass anything I created; I was just simply experimenting with it.

I learned a lot from this, definately looking forward to developing this further in the near future...

4. That's cool
I've taken some interesting light pictures by zooming in or out as I press the shutter.

What did you use for the light source?

5. Sparklers and a small led penlight...
Tonight I am going to try a technique called light stenciling.

Basically you build a light box and attach whatever image you want to the front window and expose the lightsource through the rear window to 'paint' your image...

I saw a great website last night where a photographer (forget his name) paints light onto already existing urban spraypaint graffiti and creates some STUNNING photographs, they almost look 3D rendered through CS5.
