at the same old piling that sits sit feet into the water, the starling couple makes a nest. I sit there and wait and sooner or later, I get something like this............

5. Would someone please tell me if my picture is too big?
It looks fine on my monitor, but it's bigger than some of the others.

6. Yours looks the same as mine, my dear Blue...
Either we're both OK, or we're both not OK!

I expect someone will tell us.

7. to Blue_in_AK and to California Peggy, someone is telling you
that yes, your photos are one notch too big. I love them that way. But I was outvoted when I suggested that size for all of them.
Please fix it, or leave it to me when I make the preliminary threads.
Love them both!!!!!

8. Okay,
I think I can fix it. I took it straight off my website without running it through PhotoBucket which is probably why it's too big. I'll just take that extra stap now.

30. At the aquarium
The shot was taken at the Vancouver Aquarium in Stanley Park (Vancouver, BC, Canada). There's a large pool with a whole mess of critters and, like most aquariums, it had a viewing area below water level. I noticed the light shining down and the turtle swimming around. I had to wait for a while for the before I had access to the right spot (waiting for some kids to move). I positioned myself at the edge of one of the windows and put the camera right up to the glass. Then I waited and shot. Waited and shot again. It took numerous shots and maybe half an hour to get enough shots that I figured there would be a decent one in the bunch.

29. Wonderful entries
I nearly missed it! Been so busy I haven'ty even had time to download the pics I took when I was in NYC for Thanksgiving.

Each one is wonderful in its own way. It should be another thriller when it hits GD.

32. Sizing Issues
No matter what size that I size my photos (in PhotoScape) they always seem to turn out the same size when I post them. They are always smaller than everyone elses photos. Could someone please give me an idea on what I'm doing wrong?

34. Photobucket will size them automatically
If you have your settings on Photobucket set right, you won't need to worry about anything but the file size, but the photo size will always be reduced to the correct amount. But you might have your Photobucket account (or whatever you use) settings set too small. Check and see.
