Sorry, we're better then that. I would not vote for anyone advocating killing him without a trial and conviction. We are a country of laws and despite the rants of the right wingers , the 911 attack was a criminal act, not an act of war.

That we will not be able to take him alive, almost certainly. He will martyr himself, and will likely be surrounded by a few folks who would do the same in his last defense...So, to me, it seems most likely he will one day be taken out by a cruise missile or air strike or predator instead of being frog marched into a prison. We just aren't gonna put boots on the ground in Pakistan any time soon.

I would certainly prefer he be taken alive, tried, and exposed for the crazy that he is...I think he would lose some of his mystique if he were taken alive.

I also do not support the death penalty.

However, I am a realist, and would support the strike that got him since taking him alive seems so absolutely remote.

All hypothetical until we get his partners out of the White House.

I"m speculating, of course, but it would explain a great deal, especially how the RW talking points seem to be in the pundit's hands before even the republican congressmen start spouting them.
