Bush had given the Taliban $40 million dollars a few weeks before 9/11. What was it for? Was it a pay-off of some sort? We have heard official stories about farming and opium production, but is that the truth?
Bush had gone to Florida on 9/11 in what appeared to be hurried schedule. Did he know something was going to happen before hand? Did he have a "heads-up" on the possible attack and decide to let it happen anyway? When I first heard that charge against him, I thought it was insane. I must admit, it doesn't sound so "insane" now.
Bush and his entire Administration sold the invasion of Iraq to us as a threat to the US and to our "allies" in the region. They said there were WMDs and possible nuclear capabilities. Did they know that Saddam had nothing? They thought it was safe to go in because Chalabi told them it would be a cakewalk and the Iraqi people would greet American troops with hugs and roses?
America needs the truth in the worst way. The media has been bought off. They refuse to cover any story about this Administration with any depth. Even as the President steps to the podium to tell America that he has transferred prisoners from secret prisons to Guantanamo, they don't give it a second thought? Secret prisons? Torture? Lies? Constitution? Geneva Convention? No problem.
