5. Right click to save it to disk, then...

Go to the OPTIONS icon on DU, then click EDIT YOUR PROFILE button. The third item down is Avatar Image, click UPLOAD YOUR OWN, select the file you just downloaded, and follow the instructions from there. It is pretty simple. Be sure to set the correct ending (.gif or .jpg) or it won't show up.
