I'm glad I missed the execution, jiminy christmas, and Ford's funeral...missed the whole darn thing due to vacation/holiday/relative get togethers.

ya know, I think it was good for my sanity, if I'da known about the rushed execution, I would have been livid and upset. I still am, but not as viscerally.
I think I've tapped into the mechanism temporarily of the koolaid drinkers. Being kept in the dark means the fascists can do horrible things and you just shrug.


(and yes, I'm making a point, not avocating being willfully ignorant)

1. I've had to watch local news for the last couple of weeks

because my area has been socked with one snowstorm after another, an area that rarely gets snow in the valley, only on the mountains where it belongs.

I was much happier over the last 2 years when I didn't have to watch it at all.

I did see part of the Ford necrophilic extravaganza but with the sound off, as always. It's much more informative to concentrate on body language rather than the pompous lies coming out of their mouths.

I'll be delighted to go back to Simpson's reruns as soon as this run of rotten weather is over. I'm sure my mood will improve greatly.
