12. That had to be one for the Guiness Book of World Records.
Have NEVER heard of anyone even remotely considering a move like this, EVER. A new low in American pResidential behavior.

6. And it messed up the "We Killed Sadaam" meme they'd hoped to push
Regardless of what Rove may believe, they don't actually manufacture reality.

10. Ha! AP: President Bush and first lady Laura Bush briefly paid their respects Monday
Bushes pay respects to Ford in Capitol
By DEB RIECHMANN, Associated Press Writer
3 minutes ago

WASHINGTON - President Bush and first lady Laura Bush briefly paid their respects Monday to Gerald R. Ford, joining thousands of ordinary Americans in saying goodbye to the former president.

At midafternoon on a rainy, overcast day, the first couple stood at Ford's flag-draped casket and bowed their heads. Their stay at the U.S. Capitol lasted just a few minutes.

13. That posthumous "Ford disagreed with Iraq War" thing put a crimp in their mourning.
No wonder they hightalied it out of there, what with what Ford said about monkey's war.
