Last month on an Orlando radio show, Geraldo Rivera repeatedly criticized Keith Olbermann, calling him a "punk" and a "slimeball" (among other things).

Then, with the prodding of the radio hosts, he went a step further, Scott Maxwell blogs. "He called Olbermann a coward -- specifically a ' who wouldn't walk across the street against the red light.' He then said he was ready to fight him, saying: 'I would make a pizza out of him.'"

"This is hilarious," Olbermann responds in an e-mail to TVNewser. "I'm nearly 6'4", Geraldo more than a half a foot shorter."

He added: "It was a long time ago, but I remember when I was a kid, he was a pretty big deal, wasn't he?"

last night on KOs show. Geraldo was once a Democrat who seemed to care for others and hated racism. I used to love his show on CNBC. He and a couple of liberal guests would basically gang up on the sole conservative on the panel. Great fun. I remember him virtually frothing at the mouth the night *'s DWI came to light. Was hoping his show on Faux would be more of the same and nearly threw my tv out the window when I heard him glowingly refer to "Our Warrior President." Yuck!
