Tony Blair refuses to match US troop 'surge' in Iraq
Tony Blair will make clear this week that Britain is not going to send more troops to Iraq even if the US pushes ahead with a "surge" of 20,000 extra soldiers.

The Prime Minister will insist that the UK will stick to its own strategy of gradually handing over to the Iraqi army, as it has been doing with success in Basra and the south.

3. I don't know. I thought I saw Barney running the other way when he saw Shrub,
and I'm not so sure he can depend that much on Laura either!

HEY Shrub! You might want to give Duncan a call, just to keep him on your side! He may be all you've got!

6. Dubya has been Blair's stooge ? - not likely, Blair is forced to step down a year early because
of the way he handled going to war with Iraq and being Bush's lap-poodle.
