Pelosi is on NPR using the "e" word.
She says the public does not support escalation and neither does the new Congress. She expressed an intention to have a new direction in Iraq.

4. I've heard the Dems haven't scheduled airtime following Bush**'s speech
...tomorrow night. Good idea or bad? I'm torn (but tired so that may be why)...but if Pelosi is coming out so strongly on NPR in opposition to escalation, maybe it would be a good idea to get that word out after Bush** ticks off the majority of America with his "new is old" direction for Iraq.

7. Well, it will take nearly two years to do that,...
...use up all of the House's time and will fail in the Senate anyway. I guess I don't blame her for not talking about impeachment. Anyway, nothing prevents Dubya from being indicted when he leaves office. He can't pardon himself. I would rather have the House use its time on things that will make a real difference.

8. Saw a clip of Harry Reid on PBS New Hour using the term
escalation, also. Yes, let's frame this debate using the correct language.
