"Trucker Bombs" Stinky and Potentially Dangerous

The snow has melted, the weather is warming, and road crews are picking up a winter's worth of litter. But they're finding more than just cans and candy wrappers. Trucker bombs are a common sight in springtime.

Trucker bombs are plastic bottles full of urine tossed by truckers who refuse to make a pit stop to relieve themselves. If not found and properly disposed of, the gross bottles have been known to explode while workers mow roadside ditches.

2. Feh. They did a story on this on local news last year

because those plastic soda bottles full of piss turn into real bombs out in the desert sun. Give a few days for ammonia to build up inside those things and BOOM!

I have a great deal of sympathy for truckers who don't want to do pit stops unless they have to, especially out here where there are no convenient bushes and cactus doesn't hide much. However, guys, dump the contents into a toilet the next time you fuel up and use a trash can for the bottle. Please.
