Mn AFL-CIO Occupy Wall Street in Minnesota (action on Friday 11-7-11)

http://www.occupymn.org/

By now, you’ve probably heard about the thousands of people demonstrating on Wall Street as part of a grassroots movement to hold those who caused our financial crisis accountable.

Yesterday, AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka officially endorsed the Occupy Wall Street movement and urged union members to “open our union halls and community centers as well as our arms and our hearts to those with the courage to stand up and demand a better America.”

Tomorrow, we can join with those who feel the same way at the Occupy MN kickoff.

The action begins at 9:00 am tomorrow (Friday) at The People's Plaza (Hennepin County Government Plaza) 300 South 6th Street in downtown Minneapolis.

We hope to see you there as we stand in solidarity with determined to hold Wall Street accountable and create good jobs.

Visit www.occupymn.org for more information.
