We need our own billboard campaign. I'd like to see some that say...

Then call the local TV, radio, newspapers and let them know that the teabaggers and GOP are fighting.

8. Silencing your political opponents

e.g., shouting them down, tearing up legally posted signs, free speech zones, clogging phone lines, etc. would be a characteristic of the rightwing. So why would you state something like that?

4. My sign would say, "Teabaggers don't care about the middle class . . .

or the poor." But I'm not a pro, and I would go with what the pros find is a resonant message. That may not work, either, because it's all a guessing game. The one who wins is anointed for being lucky. I'm not sure it matters much, anyway, because I doubt the teabaggers will remain a force for long. I could be wrong--I was wrong about the swiftboaters--but we have to counter the opposition as best we can.

As for the expense, I would bet that deep pockets are helping them.
