1. Still an English Only supporter

Speak good english too.. read English well thats another ballgame, but speak english.. for sure.

Want to move and live in this country learn the proper language. There's only one section that never speaks proper english and that tends to be those south of the border. People from Spain... accent but speak great English.

Russia. Fairly good english at least where I can understand it. Bosnians/ Croatians.. outstanding at english and one of the few I really don't mind them talking in their native language to themselves. Kinda like French. poetic.


German? Rammstein anyone? they've tried but Rammstein in English doesn't sound right. And thats a politically left wing band from Germany :P

One lady on a movie list (being from where she was caused an uproar so she was forced out) I'm on was from Syria. Well of course they have some ideas on Jews (which is where she got punted) perfect english online. And I don't think it was a translator on that. I disagreed with her on the jewish part but open minded enough to think she shouldn't have been punted. Like trying to shut up Rush. Oh he wishes that more than anything in the world. And of late he hasn't been speaking proper English =D

2. It's not the language that counts, it's what you say in it.

"I don't like foreigners who speak funny," isn't really a very welcoming phrase in any language.

5. Oh, and where did your ancestors come from?

I had 3 ancestors who entered this country from Germany and 1 from Ireland. I do not know for certain but I can guess that my ancestors from Germany did not speak English when they entered this country and may have not have spoken passable English even on the day they died. The one from Ireland only spoke English because his ancestors were forced upon pane of death not to speak Gaelic.

I do find it funny that one who espouses English only would post something so glaring in errors. Come on, get with it, you're holding them back!

7. What do you call a person who only speaks one language?

American.

"English Only" is making us the stupidest country on the planet.

In fact, I think all students should be proficient in at least three languages upon graduation from high school.

I'm for more education, not less.

8. You don't need to be a citizen to have a drivers license.

Foreigners can live in the US and drive here.

Is this fool arguing that foreign visitors should not be allowed to drive here?
