second hand story here but someone I know was witness to a customer complaining about how the gage on the pump showed 32 cents before he started pumping. Said this has happened before.
Those numbers zip really fast, but I'll be watching out for that.
anyone else hear of this?

if not, then they are cheating you. Every tenth of a gallon that they are off, thats a whole lot of money if you're pumping 10 gallons

Its a variation of the old thumb on the scale trick in butcher shops.
Report them to whoever regulates gas pumps in your state.Georgia has the Phone number right on the pumps on the inspection certification all gas pumps undergo.
