FYI, you can look at each of the ballots ruled on to see how the canvassing board ruled, as opposed to how the general public voted on the website.
http://senaterecount.startribune.com/ballots/index.php?review_date=2008-12-17&index=5#1. The general vote, projects Franken winning by 40. I wondered whether Franken voters had swamped the site. But if you look at the vote on each of the ballots, you can see that people were very consistent. So the general public projection is telling.
#2 The Board has looked almost entirely at Franken Challenges. So presumeably, more of the Coleman challenges will go for Franken. Franken also withdrew more challenges, so it is likely that more of the Coleman challenges are bogus. In any case, Franken picked up 56!!! votes on the less than 500 ballots he challenged.
# 3 If you look at some of the rulings, I would have voted for Coleman, and so did most of the people, but Franken has won some of these. So the general public projection may be low.
Please, please, please agree with me. We want Paul Wellstone's seat back.
