Sean Hannity: Media Matters' 2008 Misinformer of the Year
As Media Matters for America has demonstrated time and again, Fox News' Sean Hannity has been a prolific and influential purveyor of conservative misinformation. But never has he so enthusiastically applied his talents for spreading misinformation as he did to the 2008 presidential race, focusing his energies primarily on President-elect Barack Obama. Day after day, Hannity devoted his two Fox News shows and his three-hour ABC Radio Networks program to "demonizing" the Democratic presidential candidates,................

1. Hannity - another overpaid Chickenhawk republicon propaganda puppet
Why are all the Republicon propaganda puppets also chickenhawks?

Is there some reason republicons particularly bend over & swallow whole the spouting of Chickenhawks? There are so many of them polluting the nation's airwaves...

Or is it just more of the same old republicon hypocrisy?

2. He Did Such A Great Job...
The trick to being a good propagandist is being believable...put doubts in people's heads and make them wonder not about you but about who you're attacking. The trick worked for years with hate radio and Faux Noise...especially when their talking points were constantly echoed in the corporate media. Jane Hamsher called it the "Mighty Wurlitzer". Last year we saw that Wurlitzer break down and Hannity was left playing with himself. All his fear mongering and bullshit made him look more and more detached from reality as did much of his bile spewers. Their slimes didn't stick, their strawmen never took root...in the end, it was the Hannitys and their ilk that drove more voters to Obama than away from him. Congrats, Hannity, keep up the good work!
