Because some of the best paying ads in the Google Adsense Program are Republican ads, and if DU blocks them they lose a lot of money. I say run the ads, and take the Republicans money. Nobody here is going to look at them, let alone do what they say, so who cares.

In fact, I think it's funny for a liberal website to be making money from Republican ads. At least in my opinion it is. Skinner could block their ads, but then it would probably cost him a lot of money, so I doubt he will do it, and I would not do it either.

Then you can also donate to DU and you wont have to see any ads.
