latley on DU. I know I don't deserve forgiveness. Things have been really hard on me lately and I have been taking it out on people I don't agree with on DU. I have no excuse for my actions other than pore judgement that I have no doubt will surface again at some point. I can only promise that I will try to do better in the present and future and hope to come to a better understanding with those I do not agree with.

Surveying busines is not going well. Did a few lot surveys for Habitat for Humanity thanks to the stimulus this week and that was it. No more work to do so it's back to part time answering the phone. At least my boss is doing that much for us. We need more stimulus spent on projects that involve local surveyors, but like everyone else we have to stand in line with our hands out.

I took a philosophical view in opposing use of the ignore feature - I thought, hell, it just makes me stronger.

And then recently I decided, you know what, life is short, I'm not getting younger, I don't give a flying crap if it makes me stronger - I don't come here to bicker with people or to antagonize them, I really don't, I come to learn, to improve myself, give back. People who are rude and challenging or just too young to be participating here - well, not my problem. I plonk them, and voila, they're gone, as far as I'm concerned. DU has a fairly loose moderation policy, and it's a big community, so there are a lot of people who are going to rub you the wrong way, and you just have to deal with it. I do with ignore. It actually has made DU more enjoyable. (I just noticed I have about 36 people on it, most of whom I added just in the past week. :D )
