"Lifelong Republican, voted McCain, now i'm inspired by Obama"

Man, gloom and doom sucks.
Hello
I've always appreciated Democrats' ability to turn gold into mulch, but i'm especially impressed but the 'Sky is falling' memo that i see circulated almost everywhere - And not from today.
It started a long time ago. 6-7 months after Democrats took over every possible House - From the White House to Blair House to the TV show House - The MSM started to hammer the new talking point: 2010 will be a disaster for the Dems. Okay, i get it. Since the media is no longer in the field of journalism, they need something to play with. And the Republicans, well, that's their job. But no one is beating this narrative down more than Democrats.
It's ridiculous.
........................
Even if people are disappointed by Democrats, why would they vote Republicans? Have you met the Republican Party this year? At least Dems are trying. But when Left pundits goes on every talk-show to predict the loss of 46746274 seats in the House and 4746273 in the Senate, well, it doesn't take much to become a self-fulfilling prophecy. And that would be a tragedy.
BTW, i gotta say that i find it
one of life's biggest ironies, that out of all people it's me, a Jewish woman extremely proud of our unofficial First Commandment: "Hope for the worse, Expect the worst" ;) - who's trying to cheer people up. It really takes me out of my comfort zone! :)*
