When the Kansas hate group known as the Westboro Baptist Church announced they would picket Bay Area schools and Jewish institutions, students at Gunn High School decided they could not sit by quietly.

Great kids, great town, great school! It's the best way to smack the slime down, overpower their pitiful little family protest with song - or with laughter - I recall one group mocked the phelpsians until they turned tail and ran.

10. The stories this week about bullying and rape are discouraging but

then we see these youth and I am feeling very optimistic about the future. So proud of them.
