when disputes come up, rather than sending thousands of young people to die, they should simply play Halo until someone wins and call it good. That or a food fight.

1. But..But...But
How would Blackwater make any money?

They'd have to host the game.

3. Charge real money for in-game weapons upgrades
Instead of hardware, those companies now write software? Look at games like World of Warcraft and EVE; make participation in OL and RL aspects of the game compulsory (the magazines and shit, not cosplay ... that's war again) and charge out the ass?

and now with un-armed war craft, the user sits in a remote viewing station and looks thru a camera... and bombs away. Just take away the real bombs and go... Or play online chess.. Its got Kings, Queens and proles.

Honestly, with the amt of technology, ability to travel and explore, and unique ways to create connections with people from around the world... it makes less and less sense to the modern society to even create a way scheme, let alone let it play out in the real world... Its a waste of time and havoc. It creates more problems and hate in the long run... could you imagine the world we could have created with the money we threw away and are still throwing away on the two foreign wars? $4,000.00/ sec spent. How many schools and villages could we have built up? How many farmers could we have trained to and helped to switch over to growing food sources, rather than poppy fields? How many families, women and children could have been lifted up around the world with the money we have spent and continue to spend? Universal health care anyone? Free Public University to all qualified people. Renewable energy sources, smart grid, infrastructure re-build, public transportation, improved features in air-traffic safety, affordable housing, universal day-care, paid maternity/ paternity leave, research.... the amt of money spent in destroying has denied not only the United States a way to improve on our lives, but the world-wide over because of our gigantic influence within it.
