Feds: Guns, Crack, Steroids, Hitler Book Found At Hutaree Homes

Prosecutors allege that a dizzying array of drugs, weapons and even a collection of speeches by Adolf Hitler were found at the homes of several of the alleged members of the Hutaree Christian militia.

The AP got a look at the search warrant records in the case, in which prosecutors allege that nine Hutaree members were plotting to kill police. At the trailer of Hutaree leader David Stone, three DVDs labeled "Waco," a grenade holder, over 35 guns, and materials for a "funnel shape charge" were allegedly found.

At the Ohio home of Kristopher Sickles (of YouTube fame), police allegedly found "suspected crack cocaine and steroids," according to the AP.

We previously noted that 46 guns, a sword, and a crossbow were allegedly found at the Indiana home of Thomas Piatek, another of the alleged Hutaree members. He also had a copy of Hitler's My New Order, according to the AP.

You are correct, other then the alleged drug, nothing else there was illegal. I may not agree with some of the reading material, it is not illegal to have it.

18. There are a few
I've used them for blasting dams out of culverts before.
Of course I doubt that's what they had them for.

17. I have a lot of books
that when added to firearms and bows I own would sound perfectly sensational in an article but I am a fairly normal person and not plotting anything nefarious. I don't have anything by Hitler but still...

13. I have a ton of Soviet and communist posters, literature, and ephemra in my house and I joke with
Mr. Brickbat that if either of us gets arrested for something unrelated, the report will say something like "Police said they found Soviet banners and posters and the works of major communist figures in the house, as well as a campaign poster for Farmer-Labor governor Floyd Olson."
