the problem with the last sticker (SOMALIA) is that the freepers around me are so bad at geography that they wouldn't know what it was, let alone finding it on a map.

25. Y'know, back in the my hippie days, I got damn bone tired of

rightwing jackasses gunnin their engines and runnin stop signs to intimidate me every time I stepped into a crosswalk. They thought they were bein cute -- but I don't think any of them would have stopped to help if they'd actually hit me with their car or truck

I hated it. I fuckin hated them. And I thought they were gutless creeps, too: not one of those asswipes ever stopped to talk -- they just looked at my long hair and hated me and tried to make it clear they wouldn't blink if they hit me with their vehicle. Sometimes they'd throw a glass bottle or yell "faggot"

After those days, you won't catch me dead with a bumpersticker on my car threatenin to run anybody down

Lemme tell you a story I once heard from an anti-Vietnam war activist. He got invited to the big city to do a radio debate with a pro-war guy. They did the debate on air. Ugly. After the show, he thought, Well, maybe I'll find out who this guy is. So he asks a few questions, and turn outs the pro-war guy has six or seven hours to kill before his bus home. The activist said, Why don't we go out for lunch? So they went out for lunch. Just talked, ordinary talk. The pro-war guy eventually goes off to catch his bus. A couple weeks go by. Then the activist gets a thank you letter in the mail. It says, I was in town two days, and you're the only person who treated me like a human being
