What the heck IS a "Decision Point"?
Did that phrase actually exist in the English language before Dubyus Emeritus used it for his book title?

Do we even know if he can spell the word "Decision"? Or the word "Point?"

Inquiring minds want to know.

23. A point in time, or in process, when a decider makes a decision.
It helps if the decider, when making the decision at the decision point, points and says "I'm making a decision."

;-)

4. Well, heh, heh, heh
{Picture Jon Stewart in full Bush mode} It's sort of like, ya see, Richard Nixon wrote his book called Six Crises. So, heh, heh, heh, mah book is just like Nixon's, except I'm not a big-shot statesman like he was. I was just a C student, heh, heh, heh, but I served two full terms as prez'dent, and guess who didn't? Heh, heh, heh.

Now, watch this drive.

10. Software expression
I first heard it used in a software context. It was the stuff of flow charts.

But any "fork in the road" becomes a decision point. It's just a place where you can't hedge your bets anymore and keep your options open. Gotta make a choice in order to move forward.

Hopefully with lots of giant U.S. Flags, A slogan repeated many times, presidential seals and "Commander in Chief" insignia all around, a gargantuan belt buckle, cowboy hat and alligator skin cowboy boots.

So, in typical MBA fashion, they use the jargon with no understanding.
