Lurking freepers, show me 1 truly "sovereign" state..
that doesn't accept federal funding.

Truly sovereign states fund themselves.

Sorry lurking freepers, your state can't claim sovereignty when it has it's hand held out to the federal government for funding.

Rethug governors, like Tim Pawlenty love federal funding. TimP's 'NO NEW TAX' pledge is kept alive because federal funding props up his state of Minnesota.

1. it's a misappropriation of the term "sovereign state"
referring to a nation.

Beauty is skin deep but stupid is to the bone with those guys.

2. Phewlenty is as two faced as they come
he looks like a sneaky poo doesn't he...and I still don't believe he won the last election. There is no way in hell he could have overcome the lead his opponent had by just winning Hickypicky county with Minneapolis.

4. Rethugs would never cheat an election, would they?
:sarcasm:

Pawlenty is such a fraud.

I almost want him to win the GOP nom in 2012. His ownership of the I-35 bridge collapse+his 'No New Tax' pledge plus his claims that the state was always too broke to fix roads, bridges, streets etc.

:fistbump:

3. Are they allowed to comment?
It'd be a toss-up between opening the gates and being able to explain facts to them and seeing their reaction.

5. many donate more to the government than they receive from it (not that I am a Freeper)

So the "donor" states could fit your criteria if only they were allowed to
