Anyone watch the rapublican USA propagandafest on the History Channel?
Gingrich, Giuliani, bloomberg, powell...they had every loser rapublican commentator set up like they were experts commenting on every scene, then the BofA commercials blended in seemlessly using the exact same set and production values and commentary style, with no break from the program...

Ironic how the glorious narrative they told focused mainly on the episodes in which ordinary working colonists did dirty work on behalf of wealthy merchants and landowners. I guess teabaggery really is a throwback to Boston Harbor...

3. I watched the first one.
I thought it was kind of interesting that President Obama introduced the series, saying that it was important for all Americans to know their history, or some such, and then, as you say, all these Republican assholes are doing the little talking interludes. NEWT GINGRICH??? Come on.....

5. Right.
I guess I did see a few Democrats in there, but I wish they had chosen different Republicans. At least they didn't use Sarah.

6. While I may not agree with Gingrich philosophically, he is smart
and played a most important role in bringing the Republican
Party out of the desert putting them in charge for lo' these
last years. One could say he is the father of the 94 "Rout".

9. Reminded me of 50's propaganda movies
Even had Bank of America sponsoring the whole thing as if the purpose of "America" was to create banking wealth.
Very pro American aggression and a huge call out to the gun lobby.

11. and the use of the common people by the wealthy
to pursue revolution, which was, ironically, positioned primarily as an economic war

it downplayed the vast wealth of most of the "founding fathers" though.
