With over 200,000 people signing his petition, which network would we prefer seeing KO?

He has enough of a following to jump to another network and get their ratings up. Which network would you prefer to see Olbermann, besides MSNBC?

whether I'd rather have a shit sandwich with mayo or with mustard. IMO there's not a single corporate media outlet I consider worthy to carry Keith Olbermann's jockstrap. Besides, I don't believe any of the corporate media want to give a bona fide liberal his own show.

I've also heard Al Gore's Current network.

Not sure if he'd even want to change or if anybody outside a small inner circle really knows the whole truth about this.

Imagine how entertaining he would be on Bill O'Reilly or Sean Hannity.

If he had his own program and was allowed to run it the way he wanted, Fox might actually be able to claim that they are "Fair and Balanced".

Fox did pick up Greta Van Susteren from CNN and many felt she was too liberal for Fox when she joined. If she was ever liberal she morphed into a conservative quickly. But then she is a lawyer.

10. Any network that will show his program that is not controlled by Comcast

I have basic Comcast. I hate their programming options. They are useless to me. I would love to see Keith on one of the few channels that Comcast allows. I used to be able to watch MSNBC but Comcast took it away. I cannot afford a higher tier.

The programming allowed now by Comcast gives me such drivel that I don't turn on the TV any more. I would love to see Keith somewhere on a program that is available to basic subscribers.

How would you like my option. (Actually, it is not an option. That would imply we had a choice.)

I am told that the programming in my area is based on demographics. Phooey, this is foolish. My town has a tiny Spanish population, and I'm sure, a very small group of TV Home shoppers. The PBS programming is often duplicated on both channels. The options are terrible. Comcast thinks this is good for business?....Nuts. We need a la carte programming, not more restrictions.
The only reason I do not cancel is that my Internet without TV would cost me more than the two combined.

15. When we first subscribed to cable, we had many options.

As time passed, Comcast withdrew one channel after another. When they were really established, the tier offerings changed very much. The 'good' programming went to higher tiers, the pricing rose in increments. If you wanted worthwhile TV, buy the higher tier.

What they now offer on lower tier is of no use. I have one channel that I watch for a half hour each AM and PM. It is my regional network. It covers news, weather, traffic. They do a good job but it is limited.

Broader TV programming is lost to me forever. There is no way I'm spending more money for Cable or any other TV provider. I prefer to keep my regular phone, internet is fine, what is the point of doling out $100.00 to $200.00 a month. I don't need more channels to click through. I need better options on the level to which I subscribe.

Hey, they even took away the Food Network a few months ago. If any TV programming is really popular, it is being moved to a tier that will bring in a greater revenue. I think it was 2 years ago, they took MSNBC. I now follow Keith and others on-line when I can.

I won't fall for it. Not another dime to Comcast to help reinforce what they consider good business.

Reading is my way to spend my evenings.
