a big petition? If one of the big groups started a petition and we made it go viral we could get a whole lot of signatures in time for them to act on the bill.
I think the petition should make a statement about how he PROMISED to not allow the tax breaks for the wealthy go through. Besides there is no money for a pay/go for the wealthy because it represent too much money. A pay/go could be made for the middle class easily.
All he has to do is make the Republicans come up with a way to pay for the whopping tax cuts and if they can't.
And I remember all those signing statements the bush made. Where are ours?d also where is it to send these ideas so they get seriously looked at
I am so pissed I could piss.

1. Unfortunately, that's not how signing statements work. |

The President would have to claim that the cuts were unconstitutional (and he would therefore refuse to execute them)... And that's a tough sell.
