A 72-year old woman died and more than 80 people were made homeless on Tuesday in Tamanaquito slum, west Caracas. Further, in Los Jardines del Valle neighborhood (southern Caracas) a 10-year old girl died when her house collapsed.
Delio Martínez, the director general of the Capital District Fire Department, reported that 10 people were killed in the neighborhoods of Sarría (1), La Vega (5), San Juan (2), Kennedy (1) and Antímano (1).
Meanwhile, two people were killed early on Tuesday in the state of Vargas, when they traveled to Caracas in a car belonging to the Vargas state governor's office. In the Guarenas-Guatire suburbs, heavy rains left other 2 people dead.
