L. American leaders hail Humala's election victory in Peru

MEXICO CITY, June 6 (Xinhua) -- Latin American leaders on Monday congratulated Peru's former military commander Ollanta Humala on his victory in the country's presidential elections.
According to official figures published by the National Office for Electoral Processes on Monday, with 96 percent of the vote counted, Humala won 51.54 percent, against 48.45 percent for his rival Keiko Fujimori.
Chilean President Sebastian Pinera and Argentine President Cristina Fernandez phoned Humala to congratulate him.
Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff invited Humala to visit Brazil before taking office and Rousseff herself was planning to attend Humala's inauguration ceremony on July 28, said Marco Aurelio Garcia, special advisor to the Brazilian president.
