And I would not dismiss his predictions. He has had a very good track record in the past.

In August 2006, Sabato's Crystal Ball predicted that the Democrats would gain 29 seats in the House of Representatives and 6 seats in the Senate, providing them with a majority in both chambers. He is a highly respected non partisan professor of political science. What evidence do you have to show that he is a right winger? You shouldn't make accusations like that if you can't back them up. And even if he were a right winger, as I mentioned previously, his predictions in the past have been uncannily accurate.

Yes, of course, his predictions are for what would happen if the election were held today. Yes, a lot can change before November. But at least these predictions should give us some pause. The OP writes as if a Dem victory is November is a forgone conclusion. That reminds me of people saying in this forum that Brown didn't have a chance to win the Mass senatorial election, but we all know how that turned out. I hope the OP is right, but I wouldn't necessarily count on it. I would much rather be seeing a prediction that if the election were held today the Dems would pick up seats. Wouldn't you?

How many states are like ours....I'm talking about Tennessee Voting machines....We Voted for and the Govornor signed this bill into law, we were switching machines to one that has a paper trail in 2008 Republicans took control of the State, they decided we were not going to get the new machines first it was because of cost, but the State had set enogh money aside to pay for them, install, and train people on them. They called a special session of the legislature and some Dems voted with them.....thus no new machines...Then too since the Republicans became top dog..every County's Election Commisioner let go and Republicans were hired. Then they began purging the voter lists. They also sent out new voter registration cards....but many did not get them..I'm just sick...
