Will Obama veto the extention of the Bush tax cuts?

Vice President Joe Biden said the administration may be open to extending the George W. Bush-era tax cuts to higher-income households, another volley in the simmering tax debate that is likely to be the lame-duck Congress' top order of business after the midterm election.

President Obama has said the nation cannot afford tax breaks for the wealthy because the cost of continuing them and others would climb to nearly $4 trillion. But Biden suggested a willingness to extend the cuts for households making more than $250,000.

8. What they need to do

Is put a bill on the floor voting for ONLY tax cuts for those making "UNDER" $250,000. Make republicans vote on it, and put it on their shoulders if it doesn't pass and taxes go up. Can they really afford to vote NO on helping the middle class simply because they want to give tax cuts that will cost billions in borrowed money to the rich? One thing that democrats should have learned from last night is that NOT doing what is right for the people, not standing up to the republicans didn't work, and if they want to take things back in 2012 they really need to start doing what is best for the people and the country. The majority of americans want tax cuts for the middle class, not for the rich, no matter what republicans try to say.

Democrats have two years to prove to the people they work for them, and if the don't, well it won't be pretty next election either!
